Chamba, July 11: A massive landslide has been recorded on the road leading to the Manimahesh lake in the Bharmour assembly constituency of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. A shocking video of this has surfaced. The landslide has occurred on the road between Guinala and Donali. This landslide occurred due to the hill cracking last week. However, there has been no loss of life or property in this incident.

According to the information received, during the landslide, some travelers captured the incident on their mobile phones, which is now going viral. This route has been closed for the travelers coming for the purpose of darshan of Lord Shiva for Manimahesh Yatra and an alternative route has been opened. Manimahesh Yatra will officially start in August, but already now travelers from outside states have started arriving here.
The Chamba district administration has banned the movement of passengers on this route and has also put up information boards. Apart from this, the concerned department has started work to repair the road soon. The Mani Mahesh Yatra has been affected due to the landslide, but due to the promptness of the Chamba district administration, alternative arrangements have been made for the passengers. Passengers are appealed to follow the instructions issued by the Chamba district administration and travel by safe route.
