Budget For The G20 Summit in 2023 ?
There is a budget of Rs. 1084 crore for the G20 summit. Various government agencies came together for this budget. The G20 summit of a group of twenty is an intergovernmental forum comprising 19 countries and European Union (EU). The present chairman of the G20 forum is Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. The summit G20 will be held in India this year 2023. A total of 26 different Delhi government agencies are working together for the summit.
G20 GATHERINGS
- 200 meetings will be held across the country.
- A meeting of 32 working streams will be held in the country.
- 80 Indian cities are selected for the meeting to hold.
- 8 cities including the capital New Delhi have been selected for the main G20 meetings.
IMPORTANT POINTS
- Rs. 927 crores for the G20-centered events
- The rest of the money will use for the development of the cities and preparation of the event
- Showcase of Indian culture, cleaning, and illumination of major monuments by the government.
- Other events like drone shows, laser shows, film festivals, food festivals, concerts, folk drones, and music festivals will also be held by the government.Â
