Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 08: Two days after rebel Congress party MLA Sudhir Sharma sent a defamation notice to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, another rebel Rajinder Rana sent a similar notice to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on April 7.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that nine Congress MLAs, including six rebels and three independent MLAs, who voted in favor of BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan during the Himachal Rajya Sabha elections on February 27, “sold their souls” and even compared the Congress rebels with black snakes during his speeches.
Addressing an election rally in Kutlehar in Himachal’s Una district, CM Sukhu had on Thursday alleged that the Congress rebels are “corrupt” and all will go behind bars. CM Sukhu had alleged that six Congress rebels and three independent MLAs were “sold” for Rs 15 crore each.
Former Congress MLA Rajinder Rana also claimed that Chief Minister Sukhu always stayed in a five-star hotel at night instead of staying in the Chief Minister’s suite at Himachal Bhawan, bypassing his security in Chandigarh.
In a statement issued here, former Congress MLA Rajinder Rana asked who used to come to meet the Chief Minister and what ‘deal’ was allegedly finalized with the Chief Minister.
