Bilaspur News: Murder Of A Laborer Engaged In The Construction Of Railway Line, Revealed In The Report

A laborer engaged in the construction of Bhanupalli-Barry railway line in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh has been murdered by unknown people. The post mortem report has revealed that the laborer died due to heavy bleeding from cuts on his neck. The body of the laborer was found under a ditch near Zakatkhana on Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane on February 10.
When the police started investigation after the post mortem report came, a missing report of Awadhesh Kumar resident of Uttar Pradesh was found registered in Kiratpur police station of Punjab. His family members have been called.
The family members said that the body was similar to that of Awadhesh. After this, the police have also sent DNA samples for testing.
On the other hand, investigation found that Awadhesh Kumar used to work as a laborer in the tunnels under construction of the railway line at a place called Mahawali in Bilaspur.
He suddenly went missing on January 1.
After this, the family members lodged a missing report at Kiratpur police station.
No identity card was found with the body found on February 10 at a place called Bally-Bhated near Zakat Khana.
The deceased did not even have shoes or slippers on his feet. Then it was suspected that the cause of death of the worker could be falling from height.
Later, post-mortem of the body was conducted under the supervision of forensic experts of AIIMS Bilaspur. The forensic report has revealed murder.
On the other hand, a team led by Swarghat police station in-charge Rajesh Verma is investigating the case. Other laborers and friends working with Awadhesh have been interrogated.
At the same time, ASP Shiv Kumar Chaudhary said that the investigation of the case is going on. The deceased has been identified as Avedhash Kumar (39), son of late Binda Charan, resident of village Umrao Kheda Post Office Kamalpur Tehsil Narwal District Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh).
