Bilaspur, September 14: Municipal Council Bilaspur has taken strict action against illegal construction in Raura Sector. Acting on the complaint of local people, the council demolished three rooms being built illegally. This construction was going on near the Government Senior Secondary Girls School, regarding which a complaint was made that illegal construction of a mosque was being done here, due to which there was a possibility of law and order deteriorating in the area.
It was said in the complaint that three rooms were being built by Sabardin, a resident of Raura Sector, by encroaching on government land. When the Municipal Council came to know about this, a notice was immediately issued to the person concerned to stop the construction work. But despite this, this step was taken when the construction work continued.
In view of the recent controversy arising from the illegal construction of a mosque in Sanjauli of Shimla district, the Municipal Council took this immediate action to prevent any kind of instability in Bilaspur.
