- Shimla News: Four Senior Doctors Chargesheeted In IGMC Fire Case.
Four senior doctors have been chargesheeted in the entire matter of the Massive Fire that broke out in the canteen of New OPD Block of IGMC Shimla.
Himachal Health Department is not satisfied with the answers given by Four senior doctors earlier. Due to which, complete action has been taken by Himachal Health Department.
Management of IGMC Shimla says that an answer was sought from them regarding the negligence in the entire matter regarding canteen allocation.
Last year, a massive fire broke out in the canteen located on the top floor of the New OPD Block of Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital.
Management of IGMC Shimla says that the loss in the entire incident was estimated to be around Rs 2.25 crore.
There was negligence regarding canteen allotment and there was no record of canteen allotment.
Due to which, after the entire incident, the investigation process on the entire matter was started by the Himachal Government.
Earlier too, show cause notices were issued to senior doctors by the Health Department, but due to lack of satisfactory reply, now the Himachal government has come into action mode.
Now the four senior doctors have been summoned to answer the chargesheet.

Information about chargesheeting of senior doctors has spread like wildfire in the hospital.
Everyone is taking great interest in employee information. Every person is contacting someone or the other and gathering information about the case, so that it can be known what action is going to be taken next.
Also, when the doctors were asked about the entire matter, they maintained silence on whole matter whereas many doctors are saying that they have not yet received any letter in this regard.
