Bharat Bandh: Workers And Farmers Took Out Rally In Shimla, Protested Fiercely Against Central Government
Farmer-worker leaders say that the central and state governments are exploiting farmers and workers. Today the farmers of the country are forced to go on strike for their rights. He said that the government should give workers their rights by making changes in labor laws and the minimum support price for the crop should be fixed.
Demonstrations have also been held in Himachal Pradesh on the call of nationwide strike of central trade unions and United Kisan Morcha. Central trade unions have taken to the streets and demonstrated in support of the farmers.
A protest rally has also been taken out from Panchayat Bhawan to DC office in the capital Shimla.
The fury rally reached DC office via Ram Bazaar, Lower Bazaar, Naz Chowk. Hundreds of workers and farmers have demonstrated in the rage rally with their demands. During the rally, slogans were also raised against the Himachal government. Himachal Pradesh President of CITU, Vijendra Mehra said that the demands of the farmers are being continuously ignored by the Central Government.

However, the bandh has not had much impact in Mandi district. At the same time, supporting the farmers’ movement at Gandhi Chowk in Hamirpur district, various organizations under the banner of CITU raised slogans against the central government in support of the problems related to farmers.
