Bangana Police’s Special Cell set up a blockade and caught three youths with 4.62 grams of Chitta.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 22: On Monday morning, all the vehicles were being strictly checked by putting a blockade in Baul Village by the special teams of Bangana Police Station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Then a car coming from Una was also stopped for checking. Three youths were sitting in the car and all three suddenly got scared after seeing the special cell. Then the Bangana police asked the car driver to show all the documents of the car. But as soon as the car driver opened the front dashboard with the key, a polythene sheet fell out of which 4.62 grams of chitta was seized and the three youths were taken on remand.
The three smugglers have been identified by Bangana police teams as Nitin Baniyal, Aman Sharma and Ashish Kumar residents of Badsar, District Hamirpur.
DSP Una District Police Administration Ajay Thakur said that a case has been registered against the three youths under the Narcotic Drugs Act by the special teams of Bangana Police and they have been taken on remand and the car has also been seized.
