Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued the complete notification on Saturday for the direct recruitment process of sixty thousand two hundred forty four constables under Civil Police. With the release of the complete recruitment notification, the date of the online application process has also been announced. To join the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment process, all the interested candidates can easily apply online from December 27th to January 16th. According to the notification, 18th January has been kept as the last date for all the candidates to make amendments and adjustments in the fees in the online application process. According to the entire notification issued by Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board, out of sixty thousand two hundred forty four posts of constables, twenty four thousand one hundred two posts have been reserved for the unreserved category, while six thousand twenty four posts have been reserved for the EWS category. Apart from this, sixteen thousand two hundred sixty four posts have been reserved for Other Backward Classes and twelve thousand six hundred fifty posts have been reserved for Scheduled Caste category and one thousand two hundred four posts have been reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. According to the notification of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, special reservation has also been decided for women in police recruitment. Under horizontal reservation, out of all sixty thousand two hundred forty four constables, twenty percent posts have been reserved for women.
The online application fee for the posts of sixty thousand two hundred and forty-four constables has been fixed at Rs 400 by Uttar Pradesh Police and Promotion Board and it has been made mandatory for all the candidates to deposit the application fee of Rs 400 at the time of applying. For the recruitment process of constables by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, the minimum height for all male candidates of general category, OBC category and Scheduled Caste category must be 168 cm and the minimum height of female candidates must be 152 cm. On the other hand, for male candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe category, the minimum height must be 160 cms and for female candidates, the minimum height must be 147 cms.
Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 22 years for 60244 posts –
To participate in the recruitment process for the posts of sixty thousand two hundred forty four constables of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, the minimum age limit has been fixed at eighteen years and the maximum age limit has been fixed at twenty two years. All reserved category candidates will also be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules. It is mandatory for all the candidates to first appear in the written examination. All the successful candidates of the written examination are going to be called for document verification as well as physical measurement by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. All successful candidates will be finally selected after document verification and physical measurement by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. For all the interested candidates to participate in the recruitment process, it is mandatory for them to have passed class 10th and 12th from a recognized board of any state of india.
