Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 11: Union Information and Broadcasting & Youth Services and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has said that the Central Government is going to build a tunnel under the Shinkula Pass ahead of the Atal Tunnel, so that Leh can be connected with the rest of India for 12 months. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said this while addressing the Tridev conference of BJP in Tihra of Dharampur assembly constituency of Mandi District.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that today under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the security of the country’s borders has been strengthened. Airports are being built on the borders, tunnels are being constructed and railway tracks are being laid. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown that the poverty which Congress used to give false slogans about eradicating has actually been eliminated. While calling upon the people to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time, he also talked about making the country the third largest economy in the world.

On this occasion, Anurag Thakur also took on the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh. He said that when there was BJP government led by Jairam Thakur in the state, there was never any shortage of money. But when the Congress government was formed, they started complaining about lack of funds from the very beginning. Earlier they were crying for money, now they are crying for MLAs.

Taking a jibe at the Rs 1500 scheme, he said that if this scheme had been started as soon as the government was formed, each woman would have now received Rs 21,000 each. The 1500 donation forms that Congress had filled during the elections were later thrown in the garbage heap. Now the forms are being filled again and these will also be thrown in the garbage heap.

On this occasion, BJP candidate from Dharampur Rajat Thakur and BJP leader Vandana Guleria and other officials and BJP workers were also present with him.
