Hours before his arrest, ‘Waris Punjab Day’ chief Amritpal Singh addressed devotees at Rodewal Gurdwara in Moga, Punjab this morning.

His associates were earlier arrested from different parts of the state.
Two aides of radical preacher and Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh were arrested in Punjab’s Mohali on 18 April in a joint operation by the Punjab and Delhi police.
On 15 April, the Punjab Police arrested his close aide Joga Singh from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib district.
Papalpreet Singh, another close aide of the pro-Khalistani leader, was arrested on 10 April in an operation carried out by the Punjab Police and its counter-intelligence unit.
