JEE MAINS – 2023 All you need to know about JEE MAINS.
Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) mains, consists of two Papers. Clarifying paper 1 (B.E/ B. Tech) would make you eligible to get admission in undergraduate Engineering programs at IIITs, NITs , Centrally funded Technical Institutions and other State government Funded institutions.
By clarifying JEE MAINS, candidates will also be eligible to take part in JEE ADVANCED to get admissions in IITs. Paper 2 is conducted to get admission in B. Arch and B. Planning courses.
It is conducted in two sessions and the candidates may register to both or any one as per their convenience.
It is not compulsory for the candidates to appear in both the sessions however, if they appear then their best of JEE MAINS will be taken into consideration for the calculation of the merit list.
There is no age limit for participating in JEE MAINS. All candidates who have passed intermediate exams in the year 2021,2022 and 2023 can appear for the exams, irrespective of their age.

Process of filling the Application form –
Follow these steps for applying for the JEE MAINS -2023:
Step 1: Registration form: Fill in all the required details carefully.
Make sure to enter the Name of the candidate same as in the 10-12th marksheet.
Set a password and security question and answer.
An application number will be generated after submitting it.
Step 2: Application Form: The candidate may login using the system generated application number and the password set by him/her and continue with the process of filling the application form.
Provide all the relevant details thoroughly and carefully.
You need to upload a scanned copy of 10th, 12th mark sheet and certificate, candidate’s photo, signature, category certificate (if any) and pwd certificate (if applicable).
Make sure that the picture uploaded covers 80% of the face and is either coloured or black and white.
Photographs and signatures should be in JPEG/JPG format.
Size of the Photograph and signature should be 10kb to 200kb and 4kb to 30kb respectively.
The size of the scanned copy of all kinds of certificates should be 50 kb to 300 kb.
Step 3: Fee payment:
The fee payment portal may open only after the completion of the other two steps.
To ensure the confirmation, the candidate may complete the fee payment first and after the successful transaction he/she may be able to download the Confirmation of the application form.
Keep the form safely for future reference.
Kindly ensure that the email address and phone number registered are correct since admit card and The final score card of JEE MAINS will be sent over there only.
Mode Of Examination of JEE MAINS- 2023
Paper 1 B. E / B. Tech : Computer based test (CBT) format only.
Paper 2A B. Arch: Mathematics part I and Aptitude Test part II in CBT only. Drawing test part III in offline mode on A4 size sheet.
Paper 2B B. Planning: All to be conducted in Computer based test format only.
