Shimla, August 08: Himachal Pradesh University has given a big relief to the students who missed admission in the colleges of the state. Students can now take admission till August 14. The date of admission has been extended for the third time on the demand of the students. Earlier, the date of admission was fixed on July 16, after which it was made July 31 and now it has been extended to August 14. In this, students can take admission in UG and Shastri classes.
Regular classes have started in colleges from July 28. Induction programs have also been held in most of the colleges. In such a situation, now the students who have missed admission have been given another chance.
There will be 65 days of holidays in the academic session 2024-25. Diwali holidays will be from October 29 to November 2, winter holidays will be from January 1, 2025 to February 4, 2025.
In the new session in colleges, the annual examinations of UG degree courses will be held for 44 days from April 1 to May 15, 2025. Evaluation will be done from April 10 to May 17 and the results of the examinations will be declared by July 30.
