Accident on Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane: Four vehicles collided, three including two children injured
Bilaspur, September 08: A major road accident took place near Rishikesh on Sunday afternoon on the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four lane, in which four vehicles collided. Three people including two children were injured in this accident. The injured are being treated at AIIMS Rishikesh. The police have started investigating the matter.
According to the information received, the accident happened when a truck going towards Kiratpur suddenly changed its lane. The drivers of the two cars behind it slowed down their speed, but another high-speed truck coming from behind hit these cars hard. The collision was so severe that both the cars collided with the truck ahead, due to which a car with Punjab number was badly damaged.
The injured have been identified as Ayan (7), Ayush (9), and Anuj (39), residents of Jalandhar, Punjab. A woman and the driver of the other car are safe. Jhanduta police station is investigating the case, while DSP headquarters Madan Dhiman said that further action on the accident is underway.
