A young fan getting chased by security hug Rohit Sharma during the second ODI against New Zealand as the Indian captain almost Falls.

A pitch invasion incident took place in the second ODI between India and New Zealand in Raipur cricket stadium. When the host was batting, Skipper Rohit Sharma almost had a fall as a fan, who was getting chased by the security, invaded the pitch to hug the Indian captain. The video has gone viral on the internet as recently a fan invaded the pitch during the Sri Lanka series to meet Virat Kohli, retreating the blind fan following in the country for the cricketers.

Rohit Sharma had an odd moment where a fan who came to hug him in the second innings, was wrestled off by a security guard who then was about to knock down the captain.

India Cruised to an easy eight-wicket victory over New Zealand in the 2nd ODI on Saturday and with that took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The Indian squad was in brilliant bowling form, which saw Mohammed Shami take three wickets for India. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar had two dismissals. Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav and shardul Thakur take one wicket each. India bowled New Zealand All out for 108 on a Raipur wicket that had no demons in it. In reply, captain Rohit Sharma hit a fluent half-century while Shubham Gill remained unbeaten at 40 as India chased down the target in 20.1 overs with 8 wickets in the bank.

When Rohit and Gill were going All guns blazing, an interesting event took place when a boy rushed into the field and tried to hug Indian captain Rohit Sharma, but the boy was wrestled away aggressively by a security guard. The security guard saw him clashing with Rohit Sharma, who was taken aback. Meanwhile, Indian Captain Rohit Sharma also asked the guard to calm down as he was dealing with a boy. This incident occurred in the fourth delivery of the 10th over where India reached 51 runs. Rohit was batting at 37 of 38 balls and Shubham Gill reached 14 of 20 deliveries.

As we know, this is the first-ever international game in the Chhattisgarh capital and this type of incident might have a big effect on the number of games that Raipur gets to host in the future in this stadium. If this kind of incident happens again in this stadium, then it is very dangerous for cricket players. It can risk their life and anything can happen to them.
