Highlights – Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that a state-of-the-art milk processing plant would be set up at Dhagwar in Kangra district with the help of the National Dairy Development Board at a cost of about two hundred and fifty crore rupees.
He said that from its operation to marketing related activities, the Dairy Development Board will take help.
Addressing a meeting at Shimla, the Chief Minister said From Diary Times that the milk producers of Kangra, Hamirpur, Una and Champa districts would be benefited from this plant.
He said that the plant would have a capacity of three lakh liters and would produce high quality milk products will be prepared.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress has promised to buy cow’s milk for eighty rupees and buffalo’s milk for hundred rupees from the farmers in the assembly elections and the government is moving in this direction.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that We Will not use plastic in packaging. For this, the government is looking for alternatives so that the state’s climate and climate can be protected from the harmful elements of plastic.
