Operation Kaveri: Ships, aircraft set to bring 500 Indians back home from port Sudan, says Jaishankar

The government is running Operation Kaveri to bring back Indian citizens trapped in the African country Sudan. Under which 500 Indian ports have reached Sudan. On Monday (April 24), Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar (S Jaishankar) gave information about this by tweeting. He wrote that Operation Kaveri is going on to bring back our citizens trapped in Sudan. Around 500 Indian ports have reached Sudan while others are on the way.
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar further wrote that we are committed to helping our citizens in Sudan. Our aircraft and ships are ready to bring them back. On the other hand, France has taken out citizens of 28 countries, including 5 Indian citizens, under the evacuation operation from violence-hit Sudan.

France also helped
French diplomatic sources said that the French Air Force has so far evacuated five Indian citizens. These Indians were brought to the French military base in Djibouti along with people from more than 28 other countries. Earlier on Sunday, Saudi Arabia said that it has safely evacuated 66 citizens of countries with close ties and friendly nations from Sudan, including some Indians.
