According to sources, the terrorists are suspected to be from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Pakistan.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Havildar Mandeep Singh, Lance Naik Devashish Baswal, Lance Naik Kulwant Singh, Sepoy Harkishan Singh and Sepoy Sewak Singh, who were attached to the Rashtriya Rifles unit of the army and deployed for anti-terrorist operations in the area. Were.
The incident took place after terrorists rammed an army vehicle in Jammu’s Rajouri sector, killing five soldiers and injuring another. A manhunt was launched to trace the culprits.
