He referred to the ceasefire as the “fruit of blood” of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in joint US-Israeli strikes on February 28—an event that triggered over a month of escalating conflict.
Pezeshkian highlighted that the ceasefire aligns with Iran’s core principles and represents the unity of its people across all fronts—diplomatic, defensive, and civil. “From today onward, we will remain together in every arena,” he stated, underlining a message of solidarity during a critical time for the nation.
