BJP’s Shrey Awasthi Slams Congress’ ‘National Talent Hunt’, Questions Real Intent Behind Youth Outreach Drive.

BJP Social Media Co-Convenor Himachal Pradesh, Shrey Awasthi, launched a strong attack on the Himachal Pradesh Congress after the party announced its so-called “National Talent Hunt” initiative in Shimla. He questioned whether Congress is truly interested in empowering youth or simply engaging in photo-ops and event politics.

Awasthi asked bluntly, “Which youth are they planning to connect with the organisation? What kind of talent hunt is this? Youth of Himachal don’t need talent shows — they need employment, opportunities, and economic security.”

He said Congress has miserably failed to deliver on its promises to the youth and is now trying to cover failures with publicity stunts. “Where are the 1 lakh government jobs Congress promised? What happened to the 58-year-old job promise? Instead of fulfilling commitments, Congress is fooling youth with drama and public relations events,” he added.

Calling it a desperate attempt to shift attention from unemployment, price rise, and governance failures, Awasthi said Congress must answer its betrayals to Himachali youth rather than organising stage events and playing politics in the name of ‘talent’.

“First give jobs, then talk about talent,” he said, demanding that the Congress Government explain what benefit this programme will bring to common youth struggling for livelihood.
