HPU’s Prof Mamta Mokta Appointed Member of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission
Prof Mamta Mokta, Dean of Student Welfare at Himachal Pradesh University and a senior academic with 33 years of experience, has been appointed as a Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for a six-year term.
Professor Mamta Mokta has been appointed as a Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Her term will extend for six years or until she turns 62, whichever comes earlier.
Prof Mokta currently serves as the Dean of Student Welfare at Himachal Pradesh University and heads the Department of Public Administration.
With 33 years of teaching experience, she has been a Professor at HPU for the past 16 years. Her areas of expertise include good governance, public policy, effective service delivery, development administration and innovative governance practices.
She has authored seven books, undertaken several research projects and also brings substantial administrative experience to her new role.
