HPSEB Chairman Prabodh Saxena reviewed progress on four sanctioned hydroelectric projects in Churah—Seikothi-I, Seikothi-II, Devikothi and Hail—while interacting with residents and officials to evaluate on-ground preparedness. Prabodh Saxena, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEBL), on Friday reviewed the progress of sanctioned hydroelectric power projects in the Churah Assembly constituency.

During the visit, Saxena inspected the Seikothi-I, Seikothi-II, Devikothi and Hail project sites, met local residents and gathered detailed feedback from officials to assess the readiness for initiating these long-pending projects.

The HPSEBL has four approved hydropower projects in the region, with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu having laid the foundation stones for the Seikothi-I and Seikothi-II projects on August 4 this year.

Saxena also held discussions with villagers living around the Seikothi project areas and reviewed inputs from field officers regarding the progress and requirements for the upcoming hydropower initiatives.
