Sunny Weather Returns to Most Parts of Himachal; Tourist Influx Rises

Bright sunshine bathed most parts of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, extending a spell of pleasant weather that has lasted nearly a week in the hill regions. Clear skies and mild temperatures have drawn visitors from across the country, reviving activity at the state’s popular hill stations.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry and clear across the state until Diwali, with both daytime and nighttime temperatures likely to stay around normal levels. At present, Himachal’s average minimum temperature is about 0.6°C above normal, while the maximum temperature remains within the seasonal range.
