Vietnam Estimates $303 Million in Property Damage from Typhoon Bualoi

Vietnam has estimated property losses from Typhoon Bualoi and the ensuing floods at 8 trillion dong ($303 million), according to a government report released Wednesday.

The disaster management agency said Bualoi made landfall in north-central Vietnam on Monday, bringing storm surges, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. At least 29 people have been confirmed dead, while 22 remain missing.
