UK Sees No Evidence Putin Is Interested in Peace Talks With Ukraine, Says MI6 Chief

MI6 chief Richard Moore said on Friday that he sees “no evidence” Russian President Vladimir Putin is interested in pursuing peace with Ukraine through negotiations—other than on terms of Ukrainian surrender.

Speaking in Istanbul, where he also announced plans to use the dark web to recruit informants and gather intelligence from agents in Russia and worldwide, Moore added that Putin had “overreached” and underestimated the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the ongoing war.
