Himachal Pradesh University Extends Admission Deadline for Undergraduate Courses
In a move to provide students with an additional opportunity, Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has extended the admission deadline for undergraduate and Pradhyapak Shastri programs for the academic session 2025-26. The decision, approved by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mahavir Singh, was announced today.
With this extension, students can now apply for admission to undergraduate courses across all government and private colleges affiliated with the university. An official notification regarding the extension has also been released.
According to university officials, the decision was made after carefully considering requests from college principals and appeals from students. Many students had missed the earlier deadline due to unavoidable circumstances, depriving them of the chance to enroll.
The university has clarified that all admissions will continue to be conducted strictly in accordance with the college prospectus, university statutes, and periodic guidelines issued by the administration.
