The Kiratpur-Manali Highway between Mandi and Kullu was temporarily suspended today near Dwara in Mandi district after a flyover girder was damaged.

The Indian National Highways Authority (NHAI) promptly initiated repair work, which was completed within a few hours. As a precautionary measure, authorities advised travelers to avoid using the highway during the repair period.

Meanwhile, as per prior arrangements, the alternative Katoula-Kamand route remained open for light motor vehicles (LMVs). The Mandi police were present on-site to manage traffic and ensure public safety.

In an official update, the police confirmed that the repair work was successfully completed, and normal traffic resumed on the highway at around 7:30 PM.

Travelers are now allowed to resume their journeys on the highway. However, officials continue to urge drivers to exercise caution while passing through the repaired section. Monitoring will remain in place to ensure road safety and structural stability. Travelers are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for any further advisories.
