Canadian Prime Minister Says Talk with Trump Was “Good and Constructive”

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Wednesday that he had a long and productive conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, during which they discussed trade and other key issues.

Speaking to reporters in Toronto ahead of a cabinet meeting, Carney added that a senior Canadian delegation is currently in Washington for the latest round of discussions on strengthening trade and economic ties with the United States.
