Heavy Rainfall: All Educational Institutions in Solan District to Remain Closed on Tuesday
Continuous rainfall in Solan has forced the closure of all private and government educational institutions on Tuesday, following an Orange Alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to an order issued this evening by the Solan Deputy Commissioner, all Anganwadi centers and vocational institutions will also remain closed as a precautionary measure due to the risk of heavy rainfall, landslides, and cloudbursts.
While classes will remain suspended, teaching and administrative staff have been directed to report to their respective institutions and carry out their duties as required.
The district has been witnessing relentless rainfall, leading to the closure of 23 connecting roads. Rising water levels in the Gamber and other rivers have further disrupted vehicular movement across the region.
