339 Roads Blocked Across Himachal Pradesh Due to Heavy Rainfall

According to the State Emergency Operations Centre, 162 roads are shut in Mandi district alone, followed by 106 in Kullu (including National Highway 305). In addition, 22 roads are blocked in Sirmaur, 21 in Kangra, nine in Una, six each in Shimla and Chamba, three in Bilaspur, two in Kinnaur, and one road each in Solan and Lahaul-Spiti districts.
Beyond transport, the downpour has also disrupted 172 power distribution transformers and 133 water supply schemes across the state.
Heavy rain continues to lash several parts of Himachal today, with the Meteorological Department reiterating its orange warning for the affected districts.
