CM Pays Tribute to Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on His Death Anniversary

Shimla, August 16

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu offered floral tributes to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary at the Ridge in Shimla.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Vajpayee was widely respected as a statesman and an honest leader, known for the clarity of his thoughts. He added that Vajpayee shared a special bond with Himachal Pradesh, with his home located in Prini, Kullu district.

Also present were MLA Harish Janartha, Principal Advisor (Media) to the CM Naresh Chauhan, Shimla Mayor Surender Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, municipal councillors, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, and other dignitaries.
