Tragic Loss: ASI Sohan Lal, Assigned to Deputy CM’s Security, Passes Away Suddenly

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sohan Lal, who was deployed in the security detail of Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, passed away suddenly on Wednesday after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was a resident of the Haroli constituency in Una district.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon while ASI Sohan Lal was at home. He suddenly experienced severe chest pain, prompting his family to rush him to the Civil Hospital in Haroli. After initial treatment, he was referred to the Una Regional Hospital for further care. However, his condition deteriorated rapidly near the Haroli-Rampur bridge, and he became unresponsive. Upon reaching the hospital in Una, doctors declared him dead.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of ASI Sohan Lal. In a heartfelt condolence message, he said,
“I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Sohan Lal. His untimely death is a profound loss to us all. His dedication, humility, and unwavering sense of duty will always be remembered. May God grant peace to his soul and strength to the bereaved family in this difficult time.”
Sohan Lal’s death has cast a shadow of grief over the police department and the Deputy Chief Minister’s staff. His service and commitment will be remembered with respect and gratitude.
