Private School Principal in Theog Booked for Alleged Rape of Woman Employee

Shimla, June 26:
A shocking case of sexual assault has surfaced from Theog sub-division in Shimla district, where a woman employee of a private school has accused the school’s principal of repeatedly raping her and threatening her with dire consequences, including death. Following her complaint, a case has been registered at Theog Police Station and an investigation is underway.

In her statement to the police, the complainant revealed that she had been working at the school since 2024. She alleged that not long after she joined, the principal began exerting personal pressure on her. According to her account, he forced himself on her multiple times, both in her room and at other locations, without her consent.

The woman further told police that when she resisted, the principal threatened to harm her and warned her of severe consequences. She endured mental harassment and trauma for an extended period before finally gathering the courage to approach the police and report the ordeal.

Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64, 74, 79, 332(C), 115(2), 351(2), 126(2), and 3(5). These pertain to sexual assault, criminal intimidation, coercion, and outraging the dignity of a woman.

Police officials have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused as the investigation progresses.
