Army to Conduct Firing Drill at Tanda Range on June 19 – Public Advised to Stay Alert
Dharamshala, 18 June – The Assistant Commissioner from the Kangra Deputy Commissioner’s Office (Dharamshala) has informed that the Indian Army will carry out a firing exercise at the Tanda Field Firing Range on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
Residents of Kohala, Kachhyari, Kholi, Ghurkhari, and nearby villages are urged to avoid entering the firing range during this time. Locals are also advised to keep pets and livestock away from the area to prevent any untoward incidents.
The directive has been issued in the interest of public safety, and aims to prevent any loss of life or property. The administration has sought full cooperation from the public, emphasizing the importance of adhering to these safety measures.
