Shimla, June 17 – A delegation from the Himachal Pradesh Lambardar Jan Kalyan Mahasangh met with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla on Monday to express their gratitude for the recent increase in the honorarium for lambardars. The delegation was led by the Federation’s Vice Chairman, Vishal Chambyal.
Following the meeting, the Federation held its General House session under the chairmanship of Vishal Chambyal, during which several key issues concerning lambardars were discussed.
During the interaction with the Chief Minister, the Federation also submitted a list of demands and concerns affecting lambardars across the state. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the state government would consider all genuine demands with empathy and seriousness.
Office bearers and members of the Federation were also present on the occasion.
