Shimla, May 31: Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan on Friday and formally invited him to be the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the Shimla Summer Festival, scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 5, 2025.
The Shimla Summer Festival, held annually, is a vibrant celebration of Himachal Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions. It not only offers entertainment to tourists from across India and abroad but also provides a platform for local artists to showcase their talent.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner briefed the Governor on the preparations for the five-day event and shared details of the cultural programs and activities planned. Governor Shukla appreciated the efforts made by the district administration and extended his best wishes for the successful and grand conduct of the festival.
