Shimla: Sneha Tops Balag School with 93% in Class 12, Scores 100 in History

Sneha, a Class 12 student of Government Senior Secondary School, Balag, has secured the top position in her school by scoring an impressive 93% in the Himachal Pradesh Board examinations. She also made a school record by scoring a perfect 100 in History. Meenakshi stood second with 92%, while Manoj Kumar secured the third position with 86%.
A simple yet heartwarming ceremony was held at the school to honour the academic achievers of Classes 10 and 12. Principal Ramesh Chand Sharma, along with other staff members, felicitated the students with garlands and congratulatory messages.
The principal informed that a total of 23 students appeared in the Class 12 examination this year, out of which 16 passed with first division. In Class 10, out of 21 students who took the exam, 10 secured first division. Among them, Sneha stood first with 84%, Kritika secured second place with 78%, and Rahul followed closely with 77.8%.
Principal Sharma extended his best wishes to the students and their parents for their hard work and success.
Sneha comes from a humble background. Her father, Ramanand, and mother, Dwarka, are part of an ordinary family, but her academic excellence has made them proud. Ramanand shared that Sneha has always been a bright and focused student, and that she has fulfilled the dream they cherished — “A daughter is priceless.” Sneha, meanwhile, expressed her ambition to become an administrative officer and said she is committed to working hard to achieve that goal.
