Tragic Accident in Dharampur: Retired JE Dies After Falling Under Bus Wheel

A tragic incident occurred on Sunday near Virendra Mohan Hospital along the Dharampur-Subathu road in Solan district, resulting in the death of a retired Junior Engineer after he fell under the wheel of a moving bus. The entire episode was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, clearly revealing how the accident unfolded.

The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar, a resident of Subathu and a retired Junior Engineer (JE). According to the CCTV footage, Kumar suddenly lost his balance and fell onto the road, just as a bus approached from behind. Tragically, one of the rear wheels of the bus ran over him, killing him on the spot.

The incident caused panic in the area, and locals immediately informed the police. A team from Dharampur Police Station reached the scene promptly and took custody of the body, which was then sent for post-mortem examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are currently questioning the bus driver. The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.
