Solan: New Delimitation Draft for 17 Panchayat Samiti Wards Released, Objections Invited Within 10 Days

Solan, May 19:
Ramesh Kumar Sharma, the designated election authority and Block Development Officer (BDO) of Solan, has officially released the draft notification for the delimitation of electoral constituencies under the Panchayat Samiti in Solan development block. The notification has been issued in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.

As per the announcement, members of the respective Gram Sabhas may submit objections or suggestions regarding the proposed delimitation within 10 days of the draft’s publication. These must be submitted in writing to the office of the Election Authority and BDO in Solan.

The newly proposed ward structure is as follows:

• Jabal Jamrot Ward: Includes Gram Panchayats Jabal Jamrot, Haripur, and Patta Barawari

• Jadli Ward: Includes Jadli, Bharti, and Kakkarhatti

• Sharyana Ward: Includes Sharyana and Chamat Bhadech

• Devthi Ward: Includes Devthi, Top Ki Bed, and Rano

• Basal Ward: Includes Basal and Dharot

• Seri Ward: Includes Padag and Seri

• Salogra Ward: Includes Salogra

• Jaunaji Ward: Includes Jaunaji and Mashiwad

• Shamrod Ward: Includes Shamrod and Ser Baneda

• Ochhghat Ward: Includes Ochhghat and Nauni Majhgaon

• Sanhol Ward: Includes Shamti, Sanhol, and Kothon

• Saproon Ward: Includes Saproon and Anji

• Barog Ward: Includes Barog and Sultanpur

• Chewa Ward: Includes Chewa and Koroan

• Bohli Ward: Includes Bohli, Anhech, and Kaba Kalan

• Bhojnagar Ward: Includes Bhojnagar and Neri Kalan

• Dangri Ward: Includes Dangri
