Mandi, May 9: In a notable achievement, the Sadar Police Station in Mandi has claimed the top position in the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) rankings for the third time in a row, marking a remarkable hat-trick. This ranking, conducted by the Central Government to improve police functioning, places Sadar Police Station first among all stations in Himachal Pradesh. Solan secured the second position, while Shimla (West) ranked third.

The CCTNS rankings are based on a quarterly review of various performance indicators, including infrastructure, personnel deployment, case resolution efficiency, public interaction, and overall station operations. Under the leadership of Station In-Charge Inspector Desh Raj, the Sadar Police team has consistently demonstrated exemplary performance.

Superintendent of Police Mandi, Sakshi Verma, congratulated the entire station team for their dedication. She highlighted the commendable efforts of Constables Shanti, Indra, and Bhavna, who have been efficiently managing the station’s CCTNS operations by ensuring timely updates of daily activities on the system. She added that the focus moving forward would be on maintaining this top position.

In the category of women police stations, Mandi’s Women Police Station achieved third place in the state rankings. Kullu and Sirmaur secured the first and second positions, respectively. SP Verma also extended her congratulations to the women’s police team and expressed hope for even better results in the future.

Notably, Himachal Pradesh has a total of 126 police stations, and maintaining the number one rank in such a competitive field for three consecutive terms is a significant accomplishment.
