State Government Reshuffles Two PWD Chief Engineers, Ajay Kapoor Appointed Head of National Highways

Shimla, April 22:
The Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification announcing the transfer of two Chief Engineers in the Public Works Department (PWD). According to the order released by the Department of Personnel, Engineer Ajay Kapoor has been appointed as the Chief Engineer (Headquarters), PWD Shimla. Until now, he was serving as the Chief Engineer (National Highways), PWD Shimla.

Engineer Sanjay Kumar Soni will now take over as the Chief Engineer (National Highways), PWD Shimla. Previously, he held the position of Chief Engineer (Headquarters), PWD Shimla.

The personnel department’s directive also states that both officers are required to assume charge of their new postings with immediate effect. Notifications regarding these changes have been sent to all departmental secretaries, principal secretaries, and concerned officials.
