Mandi, April 08:
Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament, Kangana Ranaut, has lashed out at the Himachal Pradesh state government after receiving an electricity bill of Rs 1 lakh for her Manali residence. The actress, known for her outspoken views, did not hold back in criticizing the Sukhu government, calling them “wolves” and accusing them of dragging the state into misery.

Kangana, during her visit to Mandi’s Balh Assembly constituency, expressed her anger at the government, stating that under Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, the state was heading towards a disastrous future. She claimed that the state’s government had become a burden on its residents, comparing them to wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Referring to her own situation, Kangana explained that she received the hefty electricity bill for her Manali house, despite not residing there for the majority of the time. She pointed out that the absurdity of the situation was further amplified by the fact that, under this government, authorities had resorted to investigating trivial matters, like samosas, while the citizens struggled with such bureaucratic failures.

“Under this government, the state is moving towards misery,” Kangana stated. “I’ve been given a bill of Rs 1 lakh for a house I barely stay in. How can the common people bear such injustice?”

In her address, the actress also took a jab at Vikramaditya Singh, a minister in the state government, mocking his frequent inquiries about her whereabouts. Kangana, in a scathing remark, reminded Singh that she has been active in Parliament for the past six months, dismissing his comments as part of a misleading narrative.

She urged Vikramaditya Singh to “come out of the shock of defeat” from the recent elections and refrain from spreading false information. Her fiery remarks added to her already vocal criticism of the current government’s policies.

Kangana’s comments are likely to add fuel to the ongoing political discourse in the state, as the actress continues to speak out on various issues affecting the people of Himachal Pradesh.
