Baddi, 6 April: The industrial towns of Baddi and Nalagarh came alive with vibrant celebrations on Ram Navami and the New Year, as a grand procession was organized on this auspicious occasion. The procession, which began at Motiya Plaza in Baddi, traversed the entire industrial area before concluding in Nalagarh, drawing thousands of devotees and local citizens.

The streets were filled with devotion as participants expressed their faith through colorful tableaux and bhajan-kirtan performances. The procession featured live tableaux depicting Lord Ram, Laxman, Sita, and Hanuman, which captured the attention of the onlookers and filled the air with a sense of spiritual fervor. The sound of drums, conchs, and the vibrant performances of bhajan troupes added to the festive atmosphere, making the event a true spectacle.

Leaders Join the Celebrations, Promote Unity and Harmony

The grand procession witnessed the participation of prominent public figures, including Former MLA from Doon, Paramjit Singh Pammi, and Former MLA from Nalagarh, Krishna Lal Thakur, who joined the event to extend their heartfelt wishes on Ram Navami and the New Year.

Paramjit Singh Pammi remarked, “This procession symbolizes our cultural heritage, religious faith, and unity. Lord Ram’s life teaches us the importance of religion, truth, and service. Let us all take inspiration from the Ramayana and promote harmony and brotherhood in society.”

Krishna Lal Thakur also shared his message, encouraging unity and togetherness. “Such events promote religious and social harmony, and it is essential to involve our children in such festivals to instill the values of love, peace, and brotherhood in them.”
