Ram Kishan, Pandoh’s Brave Son, Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours
Mandi, March 15: A valiant son of Chunori village near Pandoh, Ram Kishan was cremated with full military honours at his native village on Saturday. Kishan was serving with the 605 platoon of the Defence Security Corps (DSC) and was posted in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh at the time of his death.
Ram Kishan suffered a sudden heart attack during duty. Writhing in agony, he was taken to the hospital, but despite efforts by doctors, he did not survive. His demise has plunged the family and villagers into grief.
The army personnel reached Chunori on Saturday afternoon with the mortal remains of Ram Kishan. The village united in sending off their brave son, family and locals chanting “Ram Kishan Amar Rahe” to honour him. His elder son performed the last rites to see that his father’s journey ended with dignity and respect.
He leaves behind his parents, wife and three sons, who are all grief-stricken. The mourning family was reeling from the sudden loss of a beloved husband, father, and son.
Tehsildar Balichowki who represented the administration during the funeral paid tribute to Ram Kishan for his service and sacrifice. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished as a symbol of bravery and dedication.
