Major accident averted as pickup, car collide in Solan

Solan, February 24: Collision between pickup and a car has occurred on Monday in Jatoli area of Solan city. Both the vehicles were on their way towards Solan from Nauni when the accident took place.
As per eye witnesses, suddenly a dog came near road in Jatoli, in order to save it, the pickup driver applied brakes. The driver of the oncoming car lost control and the ensuing resulting with car colliding with the pickup.
No report has been found about any casualty in this accident, but both the vehicles have been damaged.
The Solan police immediately rushed to the spot after the information was received and began to investigate the case.
The drivers have been interrogated and a thorough investigation is underway to trace the exact cause of the accident.
