A day long, Ayushman Arogya Camp was organized at Primary Health Centre, Kairakoti. Almost all the people of the village got themselves examined in this camp and took medicines from the doctor. Dr Neha, Chief Health Officer and all the health workers were present in the camp to screen children, adults, pregnant women and their colleagues.Important vaccinations of the patients were also done, upon screening.

The routine check-up included screening for BP, sugar, HB and other symptoms and necessary vaccination. The health history, weight and A.N.C of pregnant women and children were also done. 

Risky cases were also referred. Indira Gandhi Medical College(IGMC) and DDU Hospital are among the hospitals referred.

At the PHC, the team found a lack of a basic facility and an inappropriate number of  electricity points in the primary health centre. 

There was a shortage of electricity at the primary health centre. The dilemma of installing a heater, charger, etc. from a single point was visible.Rest the Asha workers, the CHO(Chief Health Officer as well as Dr.Neha were very diligent in maintaining records of the visitors as well as a special record of the patients falling into the high risk category.
