State government is laying the foundation stone of central projects: BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma
Dharamshala(Kangra) Himachal Pradesh, Kumud Sharma, January 24: Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma has alleged that Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has no concern with the sentiments of the people and in the name of winter stay, the Chief Minister is trying to cheat the people of Kangra.
Sudhir Sharma said that the state government is laying the foundation stone of projects approved by the central government, but no new project is being approved for Dharamshala from the state level.
He alleged that the Sukhu government wants to shift the Unity Mall being built in Dharamshala with Rs 120 crore and on the other hand, the public is opposing the convention center being built in Zorawar Stadium, while the same government is claiming to build it.
Despite the approval of funds for the ice skating rink to be built in Chola, its work is not being started. He alleged that government staff is being put to work to gather crowd in the Chief Minister’s rallies, despite this, the Chief Minister’s rally People are avoiding going there.
Sudhir Sharma (BJP MLA) said, “There was a protest over the money to be deposited for the Central University. They had to hand over the memorandum. The memorandum was not taken. They changed their route and reached their public meeting. No new announcement was made there. They only said one thing that they will build a big convention center in Dharamshala. This is old money, an old scheme. It is ADB money. That is not there. Along with this, there is money for roller skating rink and ice skating rink in the project. The Central University has to deposit Rs. 30 crores, but the Chief Minister is not able to pay that, But the Chief Minister is only doing the work of baking political bread.”
