In the FIR lodged under sections 376D (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, the complainant has alleged that she was in Himachal Pradesh as a tourist with her Delhi-based employer and a friend on July 3, 2023, when the incident allegedly took place.
The complainant said she met the accused along with her friend. “One of them identified himself as senior politician Mohan Lal Badoli, while the other identified himself as Rocky Mittal alias Jai Bhagwan, a singer.”
She said they took the two women to their room for a conversation. “Jai Bhagwan told me that he would sign me as the heroine in his album. Mohan Lal Badoli told me that he would get me a government job and said that he had connections at very high levels. They started praising us. Then they offered us alcohol, which we refused,” she said.
“Despite our refusal, they forcibly made us drink alcohol. After this, they started harassing me. I resisted, after which they threatened (the friend) with dire consequences and made him sit aside and threatened me that they would kill me if I did not agree to their demands. After this, both of them raped me in turns. They also took my nude pictures and a video,” she added.
The complainant added, “They threatened me that they would make me disappear if I told the police or anyone about the matter. We felt embarrassed… Around two months ago, they called us to Panchkula and threatened to implicate us in a false criminal case. After that, we managed to find Rocky Mittal’s address in Panchkula and Badoli’s address in Sonipat and their mobile phone numbers. I am requesting that I be given justice and strict action be taken against them. Also, my nude pictures and videos should be removed from their mobile phone numbers…”
Speaking to Diary Times, Badoli said, “These are all baseless allegations. There is nothing like that. I don’t know what all this is. Such FIRs can also be manipulated. Maybe such fake FIRs are being circulated because of the upcoming elections in Delhi.
However, Superintendent of Police (Solan) Gaurav Singh has confirmed that a case has been registered in this regard. He said, “Statements of some suspects have already been recorded, while statements of some are to be recorded in the coming days. The investigation is on.”
Rocky Mittal did not respond to calls or messages.
