Dharamshala: Bhavsar of Ahmedabad dies after getting injured during paragliding at Indru Nag Taking Off Point
The female tourist was identified as Bhavsar (19), daughter of Jignesh Gujarat, who was a resident of Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. Bhavsar had come to Dharamshala on her family trip. The assistant guide of paragliding suffered minor injuries and was rescued.
Dharamshala, January 19: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Dharamshala on Saturday evening, in which a female tourist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Bhavsar fell during paragliding and got seriously injured. This heartbreaking accident took place at Indru Nag Taking Off Point in Dharamshala, where Bhavsar was paragliding with an assistant guide. After falling, Bhavsar suffered serious injuries and later died while being taken to the Zonal Hospital.

The paragliding pilot at the time of the accident was Munish Kumar, a resident of Tahu Chola village in Kangra district. He is 29 years old and an experienced pilot. Rescue operations were started immediately after the incident, but the life of the female tourist Bhavsar could not be saved.
The local police and administration have started investigating the matter. The post-mortem of the body was done at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala, after which it will be handed over to the family. The incident has caused a wave of mourning among the local people and tourists. Police officials said that the investigation is also looking into whether all the safety standards were followed during paragliding or not.
