Shahpur (Kangra), (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 13 (Diary Times): Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that Rajiv Gandhi Adarsh Day-Boarding Schools will be established in every assembly constituency to provide better educational facilities to children in rural areas. Additionally, a cluster system is being introduced in schools to enhance the quality of education.

As the Chief Guest at the Annual Function of The Guide Public School Shahpur on Sunday, Pathania emphasized that the future of the younger generation depends on quality education. He also stressed that the highest goals in life can only be achieved through hard work.

He stated that education is the foundation of success in life and emphasized the importance of developing discipline and hard work during student years, as these qualities bring long-term benefits.

He encouraged all students to set clear goals for their lives and prepare for competitive exams accordingly.

He also highlighted the growing drug problem, which he described as a serious threat to society. The government is making significant efforts to eliminate drug abuse from the state, he said.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has decided to form a task force to arrest those involved in drug abuse and trafficking. He urged the public to cooperate with the police in exposing drug-related activities to protect the younger generation. He also called on students to stay away from drugs.

Earlier, the school’s principal, Surendra, welcomed the chief guest and provided an overview of the school’s activities.

During the event, students presented various cultural performances. The principal also honored students who excelled in academics and other activities.

The occasion was attended by several dignitaries, including Chairman of The Guide Public School, Ravindra Singh Wazir, senior Congress leaders Devdutt Sharma and Baryam Singh Thakur, retired assembly secretary Govardhan Singh, retired deputy director Baljit Singh, retired CMO Sushil Sharma, retired principal Swaroop Samyal, president of Urban Development Shahpur Congress Uttam Chambiyal, former head Karna Parmar, Ajay Pankil, Swaroop Jamwal, Dr. Shrikant Lagwal, Kapil Mahajan, Subhash Chand, and others.

Tehsildar Dikshant Thakur, Kirta Singh Sohal, Principal of ITI, SDO of the Jal Shakti Department Razak Mohammad, SDO of the Electricity Department Vikram Singh, SHO Kartar Singh Thakur, and officers from various other departments were also present at the event.
